First time came across this question was discussing with my GM regarding on his wedding.... He ask me... what is the reason of you getting married? Emmm.... my mind is blank....... what is the reason? He and another senior colleague was saying to have a partner when we are old.... so no need to be alone.... is this the main reason? After that... I was thinking of it.... Is this the process of the life? My senior colleague told me that many of her friends who already married have the same opinion: If they are giving a chance again, they will not choose to get married. How about you?
Second time came across this sentence is yesterday reading the wedding magazine..... an article with the title of Why you are getting married? A few main points I would like to share here.......
"when we are the age of 20, we have a beautiful dream about our wedding,
when we the age of 25, friends and relatives are getting married one by one,
you will also ask yourself : when is my turn?
when the time of 30, your parents start nagging you, this time,
you will ask yourself, who am I suppose to marry with?
40, you might not think of what is the main reason for you to get married............,
marriage is for happiness, for a world of two person, having the same promise together forever and be happy......"
Some of the people getting married just for the reason of the certificate.. some for security purpose.... many of the people go through a tiring, grand, nice and beautiful wedding ceremony, this is only the way for proving yourself married? but some will prefer only for registration.... did we ever think of the main reason? the reason of you really really truly love him/her, want to protect or be with him/her forever? and I am agree to the author...
the main reason of getting married is ....... LOVE.........
